Audit costs

Hi,I'm wondering if there are any organisation of a similar scale to us that would be happy to share information about their auditors? (we have a turnover of approx £500,000 and deliver a wide range ofprojects and productions). Does anyone have any particular recommendations? I have been advised by a couple of people that our audit costs are quite high (over 5k), but I have nothing to compare this to at the moment. Partial Exemption success!

Hello Everyone Thought you might like to know that I have just heard from our local VAT office that they have accepted my claim for just over £2100 for overpaid VAT under the new rules! (It's taken 3 months to get a reply out of them though) This is because of the ruling last October in favour of Garsington Opera which netted them a rather more impressive £250k.
